How does the Salt Lamp Work?
The heated salt crystal pulls water molecules from the air to its surface, the salt goes into the solution of the water, neutralizes any positive ions (and the attached pollution), and emits the neutralized molecule back into the environment.

Salt crystal lamps are highly suitable for daily use near televisions and computers, around smokers, in offices with air-conditioning, during massage therapy, in meditation rooms and anywhere else you want to restore or preserve the natural air quality.

Carring for salt lamp
As salt tends to attract moisture these lamps should not be washed or used in humid situations or outdoors. If they do show signs of dampness turning on the lamp or lighting the candle will dry them out. Ensure first that any electrical parts are dry before using the lamp.
Salt lamps can be cleaned by dusting with a soft brush. The bulb may be changed by withdrawing the light fitting from the base. T light candles can be replaced from the top of the salt crystals.
